NAME: VIKTOR IVANOVICH ISHAEV
BORN: 16 April 1948 in the village of Sergeyevka, Anzhero-Sudzhensky district, Kemerovsky oblast.
EDUCATION: *
CAREER: *Started working in 1964 in Khabarovsky shipbuilding factory, where he went from a shipbuilder to deputy director of the factory. *Mr Ishaev served in the Soviet Army from 1971 to 1973. *From 1988 to 1990 Mr Ishaev was the Director of the Khabarovsky aluminum constuction factory named for EM Sidorenko. *From 1990 to 1991 Mr Ishaev was the first deputy director of the Khabarovsky Krai executive committee — head of the Main economic planning administration. *From October 1991 – Head of administration in Khabarovsky Krai. *From November 2001 – Governor, chairman of Government of Khabarovsky Krai. *In December 2004 elected Governor Khabarovsky Krai. *On the 30 of April was appointed President’s Envoy to the Far East Federal District.
MISCELLANEOUS: *Mr Ishaev is married. *He and his wife have a son and a daughter. *Full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. *Doctor of Economics, Professor. *Director of the National Committee for the Pacific Ocean Economic Cooperation.
